In today’s fast-paced modern world we can easily forget, overlook or put aside the very practical fundamentals of our health. We can ‘sleep when we’re dead’, ‘eat when we finish’ the next thing, rest when we ‘deserve’ it, go in nature when our job ‘allows it’ and so on. No wonder that we feel challenged by this part of the modern life. And sometimes these challenges can also lead towards depression.


It is said that the opposite of  depression is expression. Yet, even though there are so many tools available and we have many ways to express ourselves, depression, along with anxiety has become one of the most common dis-eases of our modern society. What if we take a step back and look at the larger picture? What if we start connecting the dots of our life, ways of being and our habits as well as our psyche and emotional health? What if we can take into consideration our habits and connect them to the emotional and psychological outcomes?


In this workshop we will investigate aspects of our self-care that highly correlate to our emotional and psychological wellbeing.



We will:

-       explore the vicious circles of our habits that cause depressive states and depression,

-       which habits bring us the benefits to live the strongest, healthiest, most fulfilling, creative and inspiring life

-       explore what supports us to practice those habits

-       learn more about sleep, nutrition and depression, and how they link together

-       discuss practical protocols that can be implemented right away to support physical and psychological wellbeing

WHO IS IT FOR?

This online workshop is for anyone who wishes to learn more about sleep, nutrition, depression and their mutual connection. It is also for anyone who wishes to find out about specific tools and protocols that can lead to better sleep quality, more awareness about nutrition and more fulfillment and purpose in life.

You do not need to have an experience with depression or depressive states to participate and benefit from this workshop. Its main intention is prevention.


YOUR HOSTS?

Reuben and Kaya amongst them share decades of investigating correlation between mind, body and emotion, holistic approach to health and body intelligence. The work shared in this workshop is a gathered knowledge and experience of holding space for health coaching, body-oriented psychotherapy, contemporary shamanic practice Movement Medicine, working with the indigenous tribes of Americas, their own personal experience, as well as the experience of working with many individuals within the topics of physical and emotional health, including the ones suffering from depressive states and depression.
