Emotional intelligence is something that every one of us has. We feel. We experience. We flow with those emotions. We get stuck sometimes, we don't know what to do and how to react. At other times, we know exactly how to be alive with all that we feel. It is a gift that all of us have, but often need to learn what to do with it. It is a gift that can be polished and practiced through engaging in our lives, in relationships we have with ourselves, each other, our families, friends, colleagues and communities we live in. With our hearts in the centre of it, it is a way of being that can be practiced, learned, understood and often through experience and cognitive / mental understanding we can integrate new levels of that awareness into our lives.
TOPICS:
-why do we feel how we feel
-sensitivity and lack of sensitivity
-boundaries vs. openness
-basic emotions and their functions
-fear, anger, sadness, joy

About Kaya:
Kaya works as an integrative body-oriented psychotherapist and Movement Medicine teacher Zagreb, Croatia. She is one of the four founders of Center Meleta, center for integrative body oriented psychotherapy and well-being.
Kaya has been working individually and in groups with adults and adolescents for many years and has been practicing body-oriented psychotherapy for over a decade.
As this type of therapy is based on the process work and presence of the soul in the body, training in Movement Medicine was another step on her journey of supporting the embodiment of the soul. These two practices are continuously enriching both her and her offering and create a safe, rich and creative field for her students. She is continuously amazed with how the Spirit manifests through the wiring of our personalities.
Kaya also teaches Movement Medicine regularly- as monthly classes, weekend workshops and ceremonies.
About Anna:
Anna Sierpowska practitioner, student and teacher, I derive my energy and knowledge from many years of practicing and training deep conscious movement. The path of conscious movement is marked by Movement Medicine - contact with the body and nature of life, but also bodywork, fascial massage. The body is the house we live in, only a place on earth that we can have the greatest impact on by how we live every day. Working with the body gives tremendous power in life - in my practice I also include therapeutic work in the current of A. Lowen's Bioenergetic Analysis, leading groups and therapeutic consultations. I am based in Warsaw, Poland and also work abroad.
